Refund Policy

This policy covers paid ScanForAI plans. The detector itself has a genuinely useful free tier — try it before you buy, so a refund never needs to be the way you find out whether ScanForAI is for you.

The short version: annual plans — full refund within 14 days of purchase if you haven't made significant use of the paid features. Monthly plans — cancel any time and the plan simply doesn't renew. Billing errors are always corrected, no questions asked.

Annual plans

An annual plan can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, provided you haven't made significant use of the paid features in that time — a handful of scans to evaluate the service is fine; weeks of regular use is not. After 14 days, annual plans are not refunded, but you can cancel renewal at any time and keep access for the year you've paid for.

Monthly plans

Monthly plans are not refunded once a billing period has started. Instead, cancel at any time from your account: you keep full access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you are never charged again. There are no cancellation fees.

Billing errors

If something went wrong on our side — you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount — we refund the difference in full, whatever the plan and whenever it happened. Tell us and we'll fix it.

How to request a refund

  • Contact us from the email address on your account, or reply to your purchase receipt. Say which purchase it's about — nothing else is needed.
  • Refunds are handled by us directly — Zoniax OÜ is the seller, so there is no third-party billing portal to go through and no second queue to wait in.
  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

A charge you don't recognise?

ScanForAI purchases appear on your statement under the ScanForAI name, on its own or after the name of the payment partner shown at checkout — never as Zoniax. If you see a charge you don't recognise, contact us before disputing it with your bank — we can trace it and, if it shouldn't be there, refund it faster than a chargeback resolves.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits rights you have by law. If you're a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases; because ScanForAI is a digital service that starts immediately, you consent at checkout to immediate performance — and our 14-day annual refund window gives you the same protection in practice. Where local consumer law grants you more than this policy does, the law wins.

AI detection is not 100% accurate. Every result is an estimate from writing patterns and can be wrong both ways. Never use it as the sole basis for a decision about a person, and never to accuse.
